Fire Damage – Fort Myers Home

Fire damage gutted portions of this Fort Myers home as the before photo shows. SERVPRO of Fort Myers was contracted to provide comprehensive fire damage clean up and reconstruction of the home. We first had to clean up the water damage from the fire fighting effort and all of the debris left behind from the fire. We employed commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process. We had to put SERVPRO products and procedures to work to deal with the smoke odor and soot damage throughout the home. We carefully monitored the moisture content of the air and the structural elements with sophisticated moisture detection devices. When they signaled the go ahead, then the construction phase began.
