Ft. Myers Kitchen Fire Leads to Remodel

The grease fire in this kitchen condo gave the owners an excuse to update their kitchen and make it more functional. Our SERVPRO of North Fort Myers F&SRT, fire, and smoke restoration technicians, removed the wall cabinets, range, and microwave before starting the cleaning process. We used wet sponges, industrial grade cleaning products and tools to prepare the smoke and soot filled kitchen for a new coat of primer paint. We set up hydroxyl generators to transform the odorous particulates into a more pleasant compound. One specialist cleaned the register and ductwork leading from the kitchen.
